In 2021 I was commissioned by The Wales Millenium Centre to make a film of me "playing"the building. I have always marvelled at the acoustics of the WMC and during lock down I was granted unlimited access. It is a trove of found sounds and along with Monmouth based producer Garry Hughes, Cameramen Tom Swindell and Ruslan Pilyarov and sound recordist Josh Doughty I built up layers of sounds to create a piece of music that is made from samples of the building or me actually playing the building . The video elements were filmed at the same time as I played to the developing versions of the music and also as I played for the dancers. It was a fantastic project and I am presently in development to produce similar films from other buildings and environments. Big thanks to Gemma Hicks and the WMC crew
